Review on Diabold voting machines foiled.

I was going to write a review on my experience using the Diabold voting machines. My plan was foiled. I was signed up for receiving a mail-in ballot. This apparently means that I couldn't just walk in and vote via the crappy Diabold machines. So I did actually get to turn in my hard copy vote, but alas, there will be no review of Diabold testing machines from me today. With any luck, I'll never have the chance to test one, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. In case you didn't catch my distaste for Diabold, they were the wrong choice for electronic voting.

Friends better than Comcast support

Today I helped a friend with their Comcast network. They had tried to have Comcast's phone support fix the problem. No luck. Solution? Have a friend with a clue come over and fix the problem. It only took all of 15 minutes. The solution is something that really should have been one on the first approaches. Maybe I'll see if Comcast will hire me to actually help their customers. It's a good service, but this isn't the first time I've encountered a serious lacking in the support area. Actually it only took about 5 minutes, but I had to undo some things the Comcast hack did first. :-/

Back in Seattle

I'm back in Seattle. Now it's time to find some type of a job.

On my way to Aurora

I'll be moving on my way now to Aurora, NE on Friday. I'll be visiting my Mom for a few days.
